Outer Range is an innovative, project-based learning school that empowers students through hands-on, real-world experiences. With a focus on outdoor education, durable skills, and student-driven inquiry, we create meaningful learning opportunities that foster creativity, resilience, and a deep connection to the natural world. Outer Range is a public, non-traditional option within the Montrose County School District. 

 

Your sponsorship directly supports the success of our Outer Range 5K, helping us cover event costs while also fueling student expeditions and expanding our growing infrastructure. Funds raised will provide students with real-world learning experiences, outdoor adventures, and hands-on projects that build durable skills. As we continue to develop the Outer Range, your partnership ensures that we can offer meaningful, place-based education while strengthening our school’s outdoor learning spaces.
